Attracting Media Attention

  • It is very difficult for an independent candidate to get coverage in national media – TV, radio and national newspapers.
  • There is excellent coverage in local newspapers, but these only come out weekly.
  • Residents and others are urged to increase awareness of Nicholas’s campaign against HS2 by drawing attention to it in their networks, with their own media contacts and through social media.  Everyone can help to turn the by-election into a “Bye-HS2” election.
